Tosaiga "Kagineko"
A new addition "Kagineko" to our Tosaiga series!
This piece depicts Kanon, an original character inspired by the child form of Kannon Bodhisattva, gently holding a cat.
The title "Kagineko" refers to a cat with a hooked tail, often considered a symbol of good fortune in Japan.
Kanon's calm expression as he gazes at the cat, the cat's soft and delicate fur, every detail is beautifully painted.
Autographed by the artist.
